ABOUT the PROJECT

25 objects, soon to be Significant

Significant Objects v3 gets underway in a matter of hours, and we’re really excited. Proceeds from this cycle of 50 stories, objects, and auctions will benefit Girls Write Now, which mentors under-served or at-risk high school girls in New York City and as their site puts it, is “mentoring the next generation of women writers.”

Our contributors this time around will include Jennifer Weiner, Padgett Powell, Stacey D’Erasmo, Jim Hanas, Dara Horn, Charles Baxter, Susanna Daniel, David Levine, Dan Chaon, Carole Maso, Lance Gould, and more.

Plus we’ll have a special team-up week curated by Electric Literature, fearing stories by Rick Moody, Marisa Silver, and more.

Plus we’ll have a week of objects picked out for us by Paola Antonelli, senior curator of design and architecture at the Museum of Modern Art.

Plus …

Well, plus more fun, cool surprises that wouldn’t be surprises if we told you now. All will be revealed as v3 unfolds.

Stay tuned — and tell your friends!
