Greenman and friends (including S.O.) in NYC tonight…

By |

Hey readers in New York City: Tonight, Ben Greenman, guest curator of our special Epistolary Week, has a special event tonight in connection with his just-released book, What He’s Poised To Do. The New Yorker explains:

He’ll be joined by Jonny Diamond, of The L Magazine; the actress and performance artist Okwui Okpokwasili, reading on behalf of the Web site Significant Objects; Nicki Pombier Berger, from the Web site Underwater New York*; and Todd Zuniga, of Opium magazine, who will be projected electronically at the event, as he is overseas.

Monday June 21 7:30 p.m.
Greenlight Bookstore
686 Fulton St., at S. Portland Ave., Brooklyn, N.Y

The Epistolary Week auctions will begin to close today, so if you haven’t bid yet, get on it! Proceeds go to OneStory, the admirable non-profit literary magazine that features one great short story mailed to subscribers every three weeks.

[* Speaking of Underwater New York (our friends and past collaborators), they’ve got a fun tie-in to Ben’s book as well, inviting readers to invent stories about underwater objects, in letter form; they’ll be posting some on their site. Details here.]
