Our friends over at Underwater New York have yet another great event in the works:

We’ll set up an audio recording station – the Story Tank – on Pier 11 beside PortSide’s tanker Mary Whalen, docked in Red Hook/Atlantic Basin. Come tour the tanker, take in the watery festivities, and share your own true stories of water: fish stories, skinny dips, canoe trips, seasickness, ferry rides, waterfront walks, sunset cruises, boat-bound breakups, secrets you’ve shouted to the open ocean, secrets you’ve tossed in a polluted canal – anything goes, we’re just looking for your stories or memories about water!
